Welcome to Hockessin/Greenville/Centreville
Hockessin is a town of a smaller size located in New Castle County in Delaware with a population of approximately 15,000. It is chiefly a bedroom community yet many mushroom farms continue to operate in the area. As an affluent town, Hockessin has several charming landmarks that are listed on the National Register of Historic Places and it is also home to many notable residents including Cab Calloway and Tony Graffanino.
Greenville is also a very small and affluent suburb of Wilmington Delaware. With a population of only two to three thousand residents, Greenville is well known as it was home to some of the wealthy Du Pont family descendants. Located in New Castle County, Greenville is in the northern part of the state close to Centerville, which is also known for being home to many Du Pont family homes. Nowadays several of the homes in Centerville are listed as the Centerville Historic District by the National Register of Historic Places. Other notable points of interest close by include Longwood Gardens, Delaware Museum of Art, Brandywine River Museum, and Brandywine Creek State Park.
